About the Author

Joy Lee is the co-owner and general manager of Rover Oaks Pet Resort in Katy, Texas.  Previously she worked in marketing, corporate strategy and consulting in the medical and chemical products industries.  She left corporate life in 2001 to pursue her passion for animals and volunteered at the Humane Society of Missouri.  She moved to Houston, Texas in 2003 and joined the Rover Oaks family two years later. She now resides in Houston with husband Tommy, son Geoffrey and her rescued canine kids.
